They Got the Signatures

Well, as expected they got the signatures they needed to present themselves to the upcoming elections, here you have the note by EITb:

MAY 27 ELECTIONS

basque leftist movement's election goups collect 82,500 signatures

04/22/2007

The numbers were unveiled during a meeting in Pamplona/Iruña, in which were presented the 50 candidates who will run in the forthcoming county elections of Navarre.

The election groups of the Basque leftwing nationalist movement collected 82,500 signatures in the Basque Country, going far beyond the needed ones.

About 14,000 signatures were gathered in Navarre, 32,500 in Gipuzkoa, 30,000 in Bizkaia and 6,000 en Alava.

In Pamplona/Iruña they collected 4,000, the same as in Donostia-San Sebastián, 6,000 in Bilbao and 3,500 in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The numbers were unveiled during a meeting in Pamplona/Iruña, in which were presented the 50 candidates who will run in the forthcoming county elections of Navarre.

The list for Navarre's parliament, Nafarroako Abertzale Sozialistak, is headed by Pernando Barrena and Gloria Rekarte, member of the Pro-Amnesty movement, followed by Ainara Armendáriz, Jon Garai, Elena Urabaien, Mikel Soto, Miren Zabaleta, Patxi Erdozain, Begoña Zabala and Gorka Mayo.

Now lets wait and see the next movement by the spineless Zapatero government, too afraid to stand up against the Francoist vermin at the Partido Popular.

Or maybe it is no fear, but the fact that the PSOE has its own share of crimes against the Basque people.
